Will KKR Create History in IPL?

Everyone has an eye on two IPL teams namely Chennai super kings and Kolkata knight riders. Both of the teams have won two seasons each and Chennai which is led by team India skipper Dhoni is more promising. But after winning the last season KKR led by young Gautam Gambhir is in high spirits. Two titles in three years is the thing that has made KKR to be the most sought after team in the league. This team was in much hype since the first season of IPL because of obvious reasons. Team owner Shahrukh Khan and former captain Sourav Ganguly created huge hype in the first season but nothing happened. The first 4 seasons were very bad for the team but it created magic in the year 2012 and in again in the last season in 2014. Let see what chances does KKR have this time. KKR
In the year 2012 Dr. Rudi Webster who is a noted sport psychologist was called off by KKR and it worked. Sunil Narine was the one who played a great part in making KKR winners. His dangerous off spin bowling with great line and length led batsmen to hit or get out. He left the batsmen with no choice but to play silly shots and thus he showed the batsmen the way to pavilion. Gautam Gambhir too played the innings of captain and this finally bought a halt to Chennai Super Kings. Year 2014 again belonged to these two players but this time Gautam Gambhir looked more confident and energetic. His tactics and strategies bore the fruits and again in the year 2014 it grabbed the cup.

The KKR management is happy with the team and so the changes are a no for the team. Chis Lynn and James Neesham KKR have been replaced by veteran players Johan Botha and Azhar Mahmood who is now a British citizen. Brad Hogg who is 44 year old left arm bowler has also been roped in the squad. Thus KKR becomes the squad full of good spinners and the batsmen would find a hard time playing these bowlers. Gambhir as usual would lead from the front with his damn cool and easy go attitude. Robin Uttappa and Manish Pandey are again expected to charge heavily on the bowlers.

As far as middle order is concerned there are loop holes like Shakib Al Hasan and Andre Russell. Ryan Doeschate who is known as a hitter would be the centre of attraction. Morne Morkel along with Umesh Yadav will provide the pace to the team and Piyush Chawla would provide support to Narine and Hogg. All in all we have to see the team which changed its color from Black to Golden to purple has to offer this time to its fans and to shock its rivals. The magic begins tonight itself when Mumbai Indians and KKR would have one on one fight.
